Cold Brew Coffee

Place one unopened filter pouch in a jar or bottle with 300mls of water. Give it a good shake. Put it in the fridge for 12-18 hours. You can shake it a few more times during the steeping period. Remove the pouch and place it in your compost bin.

Mix your cold brew with your choice of dairy or dairy free milk. Add some sugar or syrup to sweeten it up, if you like. Enjoy!

You can store your cold brew in the fridge for up to 1 week.

How to add Milk?

To ensure optimal extraction of flavors, DO NOT pour milk directly through the filter. After discarding the filter, add milk and/or sweetener to taste. Use a shallow cup to make a strong brew (refer to Tip 3).

Too sour, or too bitter?

If your coffee tastes too sour or tangy, reduce the volume of water or let the filter steep one more minute while making you next cup. On the other hand, if it tastes too bitter, you may add more water, or reduce the steeping time by 30 seconds to a minute to cut the extraction sooner.

How to make a stronger cup?

If you find your cup weak in flavor for your liking, or prefer stronger coffee, let the coffee filter steep in the cup for an additional 2-3 minutes. This will allow the extraction to continue and result in a more concentrated brew.
